Challenge
How can SJG produce a lead generation and management system for high tech companies to use at their tradeshows that is efficient and environmentally friendly?

Solution
SJG, in conjunction with The Taylor Group, created an access card using RFID technology. The card is loaded with an attendee’s contact details, who then swipe the card at tradeshow booths to indicate they have visited and are interested in that vendor’s offerings. Visitors receive more information from the vendor in a personalized, follow up email later that day.

The clients are provided with post-show analytics detailing the number of visitors and the length of their stay. The system also tracks data such as percentage of click-through rates and average number of card swipes per attendee.

This is an environmentally-friendly system, which eliminates brochures making it paper-free, and the cards are reusable.

Results
In addition to winning the “Best Use of Technology Award” at CES 2009, tradeshow visitor response to the system has proven to be a hit with vendors:
